The foundation for Rush Union WI are the Youth Academies from AFC Union and Rush WI SE. The Academy programs for U8-U11 players are designed to support and guide those players who wish to make the transition from recreational soccer to competitive soccer. This program is geared to the more athletically motivated recreational player who is looking to take the next step in soccer. Players with a strong desire to increase their technical skills while also learning more about the game will benefit greatly from the Academy environment.
 
The most important aspect of Academy Programs is training. Technical and small-sided-tactical training is provided 2 times per week by our professional staff. Challenging training sessions conducted by the Academy staff are the key ingredient in the personal development of the players. Training activities are devised to help each player improve technically (skills), tactically (decision making), physically (fitness), and psychologically (mental toughness). The Academy’s focus is on the complete development of each player.
 
AFC Union and Rush SE are members of and participates in the WYSA Youth Academy program. Game play will take place in Southeast Wisconsin, with travel generally limited to the greater Milwaukee/Kenosha/Racine areas.
